Lost wheel lock key.

SWMBO decided to tidy out the glove box on our FFRR & the wheel lock nut tool was in there. Needless to say this item is now lost Big Cry There has been much gnashing of teeth with weeping & wailing but the upshot is that I need to replace this tool. I've already looked in the normal holder in the boot but knew that I'd left the tool in glovebox whilst I was working on the car.

Can anyone suggest where to start looking for a new one & what to order? The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!

Either call a dealership with your chassis number , any good garage will be able to take them off , or Halfords as they sell a tool for taking these locking wheel nuts off , or your local screwfix …..

Best bet would be to go to a friendly service department and ask them to determine which letter your locking wheel nut is, then they can order the correct one. Or if you're really cheeky, get the letter and find it elsewhere! Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I would personally just buy 4 new normal nuts and ask the mech at a dealer really nicely of he will remove the locking nuts then you can just whack the normals on.

Unless you have really nice, unusual alloys. I dont think people nick them anymore.

The ownley people locking wheel nuts inconvenience is the owner!

+1

Any wheel thief who can jack up a FFRR isn't going to be put off by a locking wheel nut.

IMHO the only person the ever inconvenience is the owner.

Took 'em off, more trouble than they are worth. Also they looked a bit shabby comapred to "normal nuts" which I now have all round Very Happy Geoff

I bought one when we got the FFRR as it didnt appear to have one. I went to the dealer and he id'd which one I needed by trying different ones. I think it was about £8 +vat.

About a month later, I found the original under the spare wheel.
