Well, The replacement for the one Royal mail lost arrived today......

Would it now work... Embarassed

Within minutes the boot was open the cover and the 3 nuts removed from the fuse brackets to get at the receiver.. Unplugged it and after reconnecting it pressed the Off button on the remote and if by magic, pressing the on button, the fan kicked into action..

Well chuffed.... Mr. Green

Another nice to have ticked off the list... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Just Digital TV and a Venture cam to go and all the original kit will be complete.. Shocked

What I don't get with these remotes is that the Webasto Handbook says that the T91 will work up to 1000 metres range, yet the LR Handbook says only 100 metres Rolling Eyes perhaps LR missed a 0 off...

plus the Webasto handbook shows how you can alter the length of preheat from 10 minutes up yet LR want to starve us of this facility - perhaps due to flat batteries...

Quote:
The operating time of the heater or the vehicle's fan can be preset on the transmitter
in increments of 10 minutes. The operating time is factory-set at 30 minutes.
NOTE:
We recommend setting the heating time according to the drive time.
Example: The vehicle is used for travelling to work and back.
With a driving time of approx. 30

Quote:
Simultaneously briefly press the ON and OFF button three
times consecutively.
The LED flashes in accordance with the preset operating time.
NOTE:
The first coded flashing signal that is emitted immediately upon the third
actuation of both buttons has to be included into the count.
No. of coded flashing
signals
1 2 3 4 5 6
Operating time 10 min. 20 min. 30 min. 40 min. 50 min. 60 min.
No. of coded flashing
signals
7 8 9 10 11 12
Operating time 70 min. 80 min. 90 min. 100 min. 110 min. 120 min.

Quote:
Setting operating time
Press the OFF button to call up the next operating time.
To store the setting:
– do not actuate any button for 10 seconds, or
– actuate the ON button.
Returning to factory setting
Simultaneously press the ON and OFF button for at least 10
seconds.
Factory setting:
Heating mode, 30 minutes

Christ, 120mins! how dead do you want your battery! Maybe ok for things like canal boats or big rigs but an FF would need 2-3 S5 batteries to cope with that or run of a ctek or the like to stay alive if it could even provide enough juice to stop the battery draining during the use FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

T91 Remote Fob

Hi

I bought the fob, removed fuse 59 for 10 seconds put it back then pressed the off button and nothing. I then repeated the process but this time I had the key in the ignition swithched to position 2, engine not running and the fob now works. Hope this helps other people as I also thought there was a chance I didn't have the transmitter.

Cheers

Elena
