Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Funnily enough, a salesguy in my work has just traded such a car in for a Q7, so i wonder............

He was doing huge mileage travelling up and down to Aberdeen.

Got rid of it, as it was too unreliable for his liking.

If anyone's thinking about buying it, let me know and I'll get to full lowdown on what the problems were. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

If the mileage was lower I would have been interested as a anniversary model would be nice to have

Don't mind the interior colour too much, it's the body colour I'm not too keen on. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Email sent to him for info (assuming it was his)! Thumbs Up
Keep in mind he's a salesman and will probably have no clue about what might have been wrong. A few of his colleagues have also has RRs and just threw money at them when they needed anything done (and I mean ANYTHING). Whistle Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

That's been for sale for a good few months now...

He's just dropped the price quite a bit too as it was over £12k not that long ago.

Had the mileage now have been so high on it I'd of been tempted instead of looking for an older L322. Really not sure I fancy one with such a big mileage on it though.

I wouldn't worry about the mileage if you can knock more money off it just flush ALL fluids with the money saved and have a cracking towcar that will be more stable, quieter and probably almost as economical as a P38A 4.6 Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Our P38's do a fair bit of towing as well as being used for daily cars allowing us to keep the TDV8 in the garage doing 3000 miles a year.

Here's one of our P38's being "worked":

This picture was taken behind our Disco 3 but the P38's moved this on several occasions before we parted with it:

We've also just about finished a nut and bolt restoration of one of our Series 2B Forward Controls on a new chassis so I'll be moving that up and down the country to shows hopefully. It'll probably be towed as 40mph at 8mpg is painfull and I'd rather be in the comfort of an RR.

Our P38's have both been good cars in the 2-3 years we've had them. One has had a few niggly problems and the other has been perfect so it seems we've got two rare P38's. Part of me thinks I can't justify changing them but then the other part of me prefers the refinement and ability to go in a straight line without the wandermatic steering that Land Rover used in the days of the P38.

That 150k mile Supercharged car worries me slightly as I've seen a few advertised saying they've had new gearboxes, bushes etc could become costly on something at that age with that mileage as well. I'd just hate to get rid of a good P38 and walk into a money pit.

The other thing is our P38's are both on around 105k miles so I don't really want to sell it for something that has done 50k on top of that.

There's obviously nobody rushing to that guys door to buy that one so if it's still there in a month or two and it comes below £10k then I might go and have a chat with him then. It's also not a colour that I'm wild about. It looks to be immaculate though and the interior other then the drivers seat looks like it's not been sat in!

David.

I understand what you mean about the colours BUT for anyone to do that kind of mileage in an sc means they are either going to have spent a lot keeping it in top form and taking care of it or it's had a good few owners that have joined it around. I think this one is more the former and worth investigating knowing that they will come down in price some more I bet. What does wbac value it at? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
