Hi everybody,
New to the site. Hoping to add a RR to the household in the coming weeks.
Hopefully I can make a contribution and make some new friends, ask for advice.
Currently driving a leaf to and from work, 993 in the garage and selling or part ex a 2015 mini.
I would like the L322 4.4 .

Hi everyone. I'm Mark - a long time P38 owner and just in the process of adding an L322 SC.

I just wanted to say hi and also thank you for such a great site. There is so much useful information here and this has got to be one of the friendliest RR forums I have come across.

I am sure I will need to ask a few questions when I eventually find the right car for me but for now am enjoying reading up about all the things that might go wrong - hopefully will help me buy a better car too!

Cheers, Mark

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zambezi Silver

Evening All

Just purchased a 2007 vogue TDV8 😬
I owned a 'trouble free' (only ever changed the suspension pump in 5 years) petrol 4.0 SE P38 in the past and then mostly defenders in the last few years, thought I'd have an upgrade this time!
I've already had a search round for dvds not playing and egr valve errors! Having my egrs removed and mapped out along with a gearbox flush in a few weeks!
I'm sure I'll have more to look into, tyre Choice etc! Im sure this brilliant site with excellent tips and experiences will proved many answers!!
Andy

Hi!

Hi,

Been lurking for a awhile but thought it was time to join. Not an owner yet but hope to be soon.

Looking for 2011/12 5.0SC but bit scared by all the horror stories i have seen regarding the engine.

Currently own a Freelander and a Z4

Regards,

Graham

Hi All
New to this site, new to Range Rovers, hoping to scratch that itch soon, living on mainland Europe
so keen to know of Owners experiences outside of the UK.
Will lurk and post as time permits.
Thanks in advance for your help and I shall apologise now for any stupid/obvious questions I may ask.

Regards
Rob

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tonga Green
Hi!

Hi Folks
I thought I would just drop a message on here to introduce myself as I've been active on the technical advice part of the site for the last couple of days.
I've had my 2005 L322 Tonga Green Vogue 4.4l BMW engine, Aspen interior for about 18 months, most of which have been pretty trouble free. I had it LPG'd with a PRINS system as soon as I bought it, and have since covered about 21k miles. It's now done 127k. I had a minor bump a few weeks ago, with the car written off as CAT C (ridiculously minor damage - 2 bumper skins and a lower tailgate.

I'd done a few bits on it since I bought it, although not a huge amount. The original set of side steps had corroded, so I've fitted a better second hand set (what an effing pig of a job to get the corroded and seized bolts out from behind the air tank)
I've taken out the original rubber mats and put a set of genuine RR carpet mats in.
The rear lights were stolen when the car was parked in a pub car park, so I've fitted 2010 LED rear lights which really look good.
I've just put a supercharged grille and side vents on - the grille was cracking in the accident, and I bought the side vents to match!

Short term plans are:
New set of Alloys (just bought from Dan @ Duckworths
New Pair of front struts and NSF height sensor to sort out the air suspension
Sort out the phone system - the original module is missing
Fit the two bumper skins as soon as they are back from paint. I've already done the lower tailgate, bar filling the cavity full of dinitrol to stop any further corrosion.
A serious deep clean and HighDef wax on the paintwork!

Medium term plans are:
New / repaint the seat bases in the front, which is the only thing which lets down the interior - the rest is immaculate.
Change the transmission fluid
Find out why the airconditioning system won't hold any gas - it was recharged and lasted about 12 hours - with a suspicious mark on the inside of the screen which makes me think its something deep in the hvac system.

Anyway - look forward to chatting and supporting the forum.
Thanks

Hi All,

Pick up my RR on 11th April. I had a hard choice between the V8 and a TD6 - I went for the TD6 which was in good condition with most things working. The dealer is going to fit a towbar for me before collection.

I currently pull our caraven with a DISCO TD5. Gone for the RR for a more luxurious ride.
