Hi everyone. I'm currently considering my car options at the moment and considering either a Disco 4 or a L405, either of which will be used, and thought it best to do some preliminarily research.

Not new to the Land Rover family as I currently have a Discovery 2 for mucking about in the mud, so no stranger to the trials and tribulations of ownership.

I mean, what could possibly go wrong!

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Hi. My name's Nigel. I recently bought a faulty 07 TdV8 on eBay. And will shortly be posting a question in the technical section. LR history is as follows: ex RAF so drove lots of SIIs, SIIIs, 90s and 110s. In Saudi owned 110 V8 4 speed followed by a limited edition Disco Camel Trophy promo vehicle, 1 of 12 built. That was a 3.9 auto with roof rack, lights, badges and paint job. Then 6 years later on the east coast of Saudi I bought a 4 door RR classic, ex police. Ended up rebuilding the engine but stupidly didn't replace the original 7.3 ratio pistons.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Loire Blue

Hello,I have been viewing the site for a few months whilst we were looking for a vogue. Now the proud owner of a loire blue sdv8, thought I had better log in.
I was a member on Disco3 for a while when we owned a 56 plate xs. That nearly finished me with the brand. Fortunately traded the Discovery in for a Range Rover Sport, one of the last tdv6s on a 61 plate (most of that year are sdv6),the Sport was a lovely reliable car .
We tried a few new shape Sports but they don't have the "wow factor " we were looking for. Then found this vogue se, after driving 3 other vogues, this was the one.

Hello

Hello,

It all began with my first driving lesson on a Series 3 Long Wheel Base FFR (Fitted For Radio) with crash gearbox sooo many years ago followed by thousands of miles driving worldwide for 25 years. Then my first, and only, D3 for seven years and now it's been a year with my D4. Two excellent vehicles that have been completely reliable....................but Exclamation I keep finding myself looking at FFRRs (L322). Vogue SEs to be exact. Help me please. I used to be tough, decisive, determined but now I'm weak and easily lead. They're shiny and have lots of switches and buttons. One voice says, "Stick with the D4.", another says, "Go for it!" Help meeeee Big Cry

Hola from Costa Rica

My country is missing but I know that Matin updated this in the Disco3 forum Smile

I repair all sorts of Land Rovers and Rangies, my own is Maggie a 1983 2 door, probably something you might not like at all. Apart from that I own Tilapia, a 1995 Disco 300tdi manual.

Why am I joining, well I guess I can help you with a lot of hot climate questions and fixes.

We call the L322 'chancho' here Smile which is not far from FFRR

time to say hello to other landrover infected owners

time to say hello on here iv just picked up a nice little early L322 4.4 LPG with a supposed hgf or worse. Having recently helped a mate rebuild his m62 engine well mostly my mate john rebuilt it I thought this was worth a punt. What's a hgf between friends just a week ends work at best scrap engine at worst. I looked it over prior to purchase and disagreed with the owners garage and took a chance.
Here it is just needs a good clean up, gonna do the stat mod next week drop a new water pump in and replace all the hoses just because there old..........oh I refilled and bleed the system properly no issues. Iv bought a good un, previous owner very nice guy maintained the car regardless of cost.

Hellllllo

Hello all,

As an old time Land Rover Disco II owner and now proud owner of a 2009 Range Rover Sport, besides being inspired by someone who was asking IF there were any North American members in the group , I realised there were no Central American members at least of Irish American descent so here I am .
OK I Take that back …. I just saw someone from Costa Rica...…………..

Greetings from lush tropical Paradise Panama, mucho gusto...…………………………
