Eurotunnel

Did a day trip a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Waiting for the train back, the over 6' queue was like a pilgrimage to Land Rover - lots of Discovery 3 and 4's plus the odd FFRR. My carriage was all LR.

On a side note, going to be doing the Euro Tunnel in future. Used to do the ferry but the tunnel is much quicker. Paul

Conditions for fuel

We regret that LPG (or equivalent flammable gas) vehicles cannot be transported by Eurotunnel even if it is being used as a secondary fuel source.
However other dual powered vehicles can be accepted e.g. petrol/electric.

Yet you can take a camper van on with bottles of LPG that don't need any sort of safety certificate Censored

The last time I did the Dover Calais crossing it was the same: a showcase for Land Rover reliability.....

6 transporters all with Range Rovers or Discoveries on the back waiting to be repatriated after their holidays!

Luckily I was in the walking wounded line, with a knackered transfer box!

Still wish I had taken a photo!
