DAMAGE/FAULTS: Sunroof does not open (standard LR fault, with AC and windows not a problem), the airbag light comes on occasionally along with other phantom warning lights (standard on all these, just being honest). They have no effect on the running of the vehicle.

If you go to www.waterfuelcell.co.uk it just says 'under maintenance, back in a few weeks'. Whistle

It doesn't make sense at all.

It converts tap water into hydrogen and oxygen. Ok, to do this you need energy - where does that come from?

It then introduces this into the engine - where and when? Is this the worlds first diesel-hydrogen engine?

Hydrogen has very low energy compared to diesel yet a 2 litre bottle of water lasts 1000 miles?

Let's say the 41.3mpg is true, then it's still burning a gallon of diesel every 41.3 miles, yet has zero emissions. What happens to the CO2 created when diesel is burnt?

Nice colour though.

I can never understand how people buying "hydrogen fuel cells" to fit to diesel cars are so gullible as to believe they actually improve fuel consumption.
Do they not realise that to operate the hydrogen cell they need electricity which on a vehicle is produced by burning additional diesel fuel?
I did some rough calculations on these things once and came to the conclusion they have an overall efficiency of about 10%..... on a good day.
I'm also not sure why people think the engine emissions reduce, given that you are burning more diesel to run the car I would expect them to go up.

I've got a couple of perpetual motion devices in the garage in anyone wants to buy one. Thumbs Up

That ticks a lot of the wrong boxes - bad colour, wrong wheels, painted "Brembo" brakes, chrome tat everywhere, crap numberplate, ludicrous fairy lights.

Fuel cell stuff is just a bit depressing - who would actually go to the effort of trying to set that up as a business? Surely even the average Sunday market punter wouldn't buy into that.

WIKI: The fuel cell purportedly split water into its component elements, hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen was then burned to generate energy, a process that reconstituted the water molecules. According to Meyer, the device required less energy to perform electrolysis than the minimum energy requirement predicted or measured by conventional science.[1] The mechanism of action was alleged to involve "Brown's gas", a mixture of oxyhydrogen with a ratio of 2:1, the same composition as liquid water.[2] If the device worked as specified, it would violate both the first and second laws of thermodynamics,[1][2] allowing operation as a perpetual motion machine.[2]

Who would pay good money for it? Anyone who thinks the side vents on the L405 are just not big enough or chromed enough! Mr. Green

The H2 fuel system: Gazellio is right. As describes, it violates basic science. Getting Harry Potter to wave his wand at it would probably do more to improve the mileage. Mr. Green

Now, minus the bling, you look to have a well taken care of FFRR in a rare colour. Thumbs Up
