First thought that crossed my mind was "a U boot" but a Talbot Horizon works for me also!

Can't quite put my finger on it - maybe the forgotten lovechild of "chip cutter" Vauxhall Senator (great car !) & The Flying Scotsman !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Quite like it, it's good to see somebody trying to clean one up rather than pile on more crap (but I'm not going to get Talbot Horizon out of my head now - maybe the grille needs to be a shade darker).

Can't argue with that, something I'd quite like to do myself - sort of Underfinch. Really hope there's a market for it, Anti-bling.

Interesting you're bashing this for the styling. The STYLING is the car's strong point. (I'm not saying it has good styling, but compared to the build quality, interior and driving dynamics, the styling is great!) I had one as a rental about 6 years back. I had it exactly one day before I insisted on something else. I downgraded to a Ford Escort which was a big improvement.
