FYI the years for the 3.6tdv8 engine life are wrong. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

The engine was produced from at least 2006 up till 2011 although at that point it was only used in the SSRR and not the ff.
Notable that the engines used in SSRR's seem to be more unreliable than those used in the ff even though they are identical bar some ancillaries Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

A Range Rover without a V8 is bolloks, more likely to offer a V12 than drop the V8

I was discussing model years. The 3.6TDV8 did not appear until 07MY in either product, nor was it produced past 10MY in either product.

The problem with quoting MY is there are often half year versions, I try and stick to the actual years where possible Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

A question - my 5.0SC order seems to have been confirmed as a July build. In the opinion of the collective, is one better served waiting until MY 15, which I assume is any car built from 1/9/14 onwards...? And what engine choices do we believe will then be available?

Much obliged, thank you.

According to my dealer, 15MY has no confirmed date. Their system is showing September build as 14.5MY. I would suggest that this 'holding off' of model year introduction when the Evoque has already announced 15MY is because either the changes are significant or that they aren't ready yet!

Very true. I have a 15MY on order but if they don't sort out this knocking noise, I am tempted to cancel. Question is...where the hell do I go to?!

So......

One draws from this that there is still no real insight or intelligence about 'what' the MY15 engines will be (my interest is in changes/additions to 5.0SC and/or the big diesel), or 'when' they might start shipping....fair summary of the current situation?

Much obliged.

G63 is for novelty value only. Even the GL isn't a genuine alternative.
