We did the complete LPG install on our P38 ourselves and had it certified after we'd done it. There's nothing complicated about it as long as you're mechanically handy.
As Craig has said, there's a one way valve in the tank so you might get a little hiss of gas escape as you undo it or a long hiss if the one way valve is  . It should be a simple case of unscrewing the union, moving it and screwing it back on again. If you're doing it yourself get some leak detector spray or soapy water and spray any unions you undo after filling up so you can be sure they're not leaking. 
On both of our P38's we've only got the black 12N towing socket on it rather then both so we used the other towing socket cut out in the back bumper to locate the filler. Looks really neat and saves having to cut another hole in the car. That might be a on the L322 though as the towing sockets are much further under the bumper.
