Navigation ECU Connection Questions.

Looks like my GPS antenna has expired (I've done the '753' hidden menu thing). As I understand it's in the roof fin (2006 Vogue SE).

As I also understand, it's a FAKRA connection to the GPS antenna. Can I just plug an aftermarket GPS puck with a FAKRA connection into the loom by the roof fin? A magnetic one will just stick to the roof under the head lining.

I have been unable to find an image or diagram of the rear of the Navigation ECU showing the various connection ports, so can I just plug the FAKRA GPS puck directly into the Navigation ECU? Or is this far too simple a solution for LR? Very Happy

Thanks, yep. Just found this thread which gave me most of the info I need.

I may just stick the aftermarket GPS magnetic puck to the roof under the headlining to save fiddling with adapting the roof fin.
I think this would work.
