The infotainment system is likely stuck in a continuous "reboot" cycle because of a loss of communication between HLDF (high line display front - the touchscreen) and MOST system.

I had this at the weekend and it turns out to be exactly as Mick has just described but in my case when I dismantled all the A/V stuff in the back to fit my new T/V module I simply missed out one power leads and the system froze . What I'm saying is , is it simply a loose power connection in the back ? 2008 MY Supercharged
