It never rains but it pours!

So as many of you know i lost my job a few weeks back and have been forced to try and sell my FF to keep the bills paid.
I've had no luck selling her as of yet and in true Range Rover fashion its all gone Pete Tong when i'm at rock bottom!

Would any of you kind fellows have an inlet manifold For a TD6 for sale as mine has melted!!!
As cheap as possible would be grand!!!

Yes Stan. Egr had split and the gas melted the manifold and cooked the camshaft position sensor.

Ar$e, wondered how it had melted.

I don't have one, but there are loads on ebay if you search on 'bmw m57 inlet manifold'. I don't know if they will fit the TD6, maybe there's a way to see if they have the same part number?

Rotten luck - you have my sympathy! Thumbs Up

Cheers Kurt.
I wasn't sure if the BMW M57 ones would fit or not. Will have to look into it.

M57 ones fit but some are fitted with swirl flaps so make sure if you get one it doesn't have swirl flaps , believe
the X5 ones don't have them. swirl flaps have a habit of breaking off and being sucked into the engine , loads of manifolds on ebay.

Yes it has the rod running across the back operates them they can be removed but it's easier to just buy one without them.
