Not got an SC myself, but if the engine management light has been on, there should be a fault logged.

Thanks mjdronfield for the reply somebody else I was talking to said something about the coil I will get that looked at. Going away on holidays for a few weeks so it will have to wait till I get back. Don't know if fault is logged ,when I press the button on dash it says check ok. |

The fault will be logged on the engine managements system. The cluster won't show it to you. You will need to get a garage to plug a diagnostic tool into it and read the faults off.
