Steering Column Motors

Hi
Can any one tell me how to gain access to the steering column motors? mine will be disabled when hand controls are fitted, but would like to be able to adjust for others driving the car.

how will they be disabled? It might be the fuse it just removed.

spoken to the manufacturer who says they just disconnect, but taking the fuse out seems a good and easy way to disable then allow me to enable.
