Jag XK - RIP

Seems it's going to die in the summer. No replacement model lined up yet.

f type had killed sales stone dead, apparently... look at the nearly new values and it makes sense. What price two tiny rear seats I suppose... it is a shame it's gone though!

some second hand bargains must be out there for the discerning buyer? All things transport - big or small, UK or planetwide.

Cars that are not replaced become classics because no one can say 'oh, that's the old model'.

Good point.

There is an awful lot of them around me here as im only a few miles from the factory.

there's a red SC XKRS at a dealer just down the road from me.

It still looks and sounds utterly fantastic.

the f-type IMNO is a marketing tool, the XK was the epitome of Jag, 4? seats and a grand tourer, not a porsche and doesn't want to be, Thumbs Up

I've driven the F type, both the 3.0 and the 5.0 and whilst it's a very nice car, it's just not for me. I got to thinking it's a Porsche Boxster but just 25 grand too expensive.

XKR every time for me. Proper GT. Thumbs Up

I feel it's about time I bought one to compensate for my sexual decline.
