I can't tell from your profile what your car is - but on mine you just move the lever inside each headlamp up or down to change from RHD to LHD.

Is that a little white lever, inside the cover?

I would be interested to know the outcome of this (we have a trip across Spain coming up). I have had the cover off the back of the lights (twist and unlock) and can also see the little white lever. Cool

Not sure what to do with the lever save snap it off in ignorance (so I left it alone). Crying or Very sad

Any guidance welcome. Sheep Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Plus one mint condition Track Day Car in the form of an E36 M3 3.2L Evolution circa June 1996 with lots of go faster bits and only 52k miles on the clock! Oh, plus a few bits to make it slow down really quickly as well! Luvverly.

The manual is useless in this respect - if it explains it in there I can't find it, not in the least bit obvious.

Right, sorted this Very Happy

It was the little white lever, it's spring-loaded so always returns to centre which makes things a touch confusing.

When pressed down you can see a little 'shield' move across the face of the bulb to alter the pattern (you have to squint into the lens as it's all magnified and looks very odd).

What he says. You feel a slight resistance to pressure in the "correct" direction. Point your car at a wall/garage door and look at the light pattern. If the top of the pattern is flat, you have continental settings. If it has a peak to the left, you have UK settings. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
