The connector should be down below the coolant expansion tank so it's easy to get to. You will have to just check with a multi meter which of the 2 live wires is the permanent 12v and which is the switched live and then connect that to the ground (brown in the connector)

Nice to see that there is progress for using alternative high pressure pump.

-Danwilderspin Would you please let me know which pump you used?

-Mattstevenson just for being on safe side when u say
"must connect the switched live from the old LH side washer/wiper connector to the ground (brown in the connector)" you mean pump's connector?????

for the headlight washer pump wiring, on the old LH headlight washer connector you connect the black/yellow wire (pin 4) with the brown/black wire (pin 1) i just soldered a wire across them which activates the pump when the headlights are on.

Hi

Ideally you should replace the washer system as the pumps are not powerful enough for the 2010+ bumper jets, however I have heard of someone using a different pump from a BMW in place of the bumper jet pump. They had to modify it to get it to work. With a 2008 you can reuse the crash bar, everything else is as normal and requires changing.

Hi Matt

Need your help had the mot and was told the lights were cross eyed looking at them it looks that way and I'm out of manual adjustment. The xenons look turned on them like they were going around a corner when they were removed. They are from two different cars and think I got unlucky they are opposite directions.

Anyway you mentioned there was a way to straighten them I believe but you didn't say how so I'm hoping you can tel me now?

Cheers!

looking at the 2010 lights over and over again, they look very similar to the 2006 version, out of interest did you offer up the lights to the 2006 grille before doing the rest of the converson ?

^ despite you thinking they look the same, which I disagree with, the grillles and headlights for each respective model don't fit each other. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

You can see they are turned in when you looke at them and the units are flush to the body work lines. I can see silver paint on the outside side of each projector one a lot more than the other...
