Really sorry...iPod again

I think I can honestly say I have googled this matter to death, but am no farther forward! There has been reference on this forum to the RR Audio Connectivity Module VPLME0004. There's one for sale on ebay, but according to the seller (Beadles) it will not work with my 56 reg Vogue. Censored
Was there a previous kit or part? Much as I love the CD changer, it is a faff changing discs and SWMBO is not impressed when asked by me to change the cartridge when she wants to listen to 'Happy' or whatever tune of the moment Rolling Eyes

It will work as the infotainment kit is identical. The only difference is the location of the module you need to connect to and you need to fabricate a method of installing the connection point. I recommend putting it vertically on the RH side of e glovebox fuse box and trimming the fuse box door to fit.

It will take about 2 hours for you to do. Just to not the IHU on your car is under the touchscreen rather than above the glovebox. 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

Rosco and TugRR: Muddled indeed is what I am! No aux so, of course, the downward spiral to madness that occurs when getting into this subject.
SteveGT: Thank you very much indeed - I was puzzled by what could have changed a few weeks after my RR was built. That said, whilst I was capable of installing an eight-track player in my Mini or even change a lightbulb in the last century, I am fearful that I might be so cack-handed nowadays that I might need help. That'll be my next challenge, then.

^ . . . If you look at my car profile above, you'll see I'm in the same boat as you Rolling Eyes
I too have trawled extensively to no avail - and I'm certainly not paying over £500 for an LR sticking plaster . . .
I may go down the Ezi DAB route -

The land rover kit is made by Dension and is a modified gateway that can be purchased for other vehicles. That said on the LR one will work...

Try duckworths for a price, they are normally quite competative.

A long time ago I sold a kit to Happymadison for his 06 SC. Most of the included installation manual is still relevant it is jut the location of the IHU that is the main difference. All of the included looms are long enough to reach so there is no modification required on that front. You just new to decide when you want install the connector. For me there is only one choice really and that is next to the fuse box.

Tools you will need is a selection of flat and philips head screw drivers, a T25 (?) head screw driver and that's about it. The work involved:

Remove heater vents & surrounds
Remove dash top speaker grill and entire dash top (take care to disconnect the centre speak)
Remove glovebox and passenger footwell panels
Remove touch screen display
Connect kit
Replace all interior in reverse of above 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

Does the Denison Gateway work ? after all these years I have never heard of any one doing so .
As far as I have learnt over the last seven years or so is that the ACM from Denison ,unit called the LR ACM is stand alone and not BMW based like the previous one for the none MOST system .
There is no cheep or easy solution . 2008 MY Supercharged
