L322 to L405 Conversion?

The pillars, roof rack strip, head rests....wheels indicate it is a L322, and it seems as though one of those Arabs has finally decided to see if its possible to get a L405 out of a L322.

Yikes. Def looks L322.

Might get away with it from the front, but without big changes, the roofline isn't going to drop at the back.

Would be interested to see the finished article. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

4.4L V8 one indeed.

Unless you do not pay labor, I do not see why you'd do that. I mean, see those P38 with L322 kits lok like...

Facelifting is one thing - if manufacturer do it why not do it yourself - but this is a whole conversion that will never look right no matter what you do. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

The end result will be interesting to see.
How much money they are spending will determine whether it looks like an eBay special or a high end conversion. Previously..

How much money they spend is irrelevant - it's going to look like a dog's breakfast. Utterly pointless.

Could be an import duty issue?....i've heard some territories apply a 900% duty on new imported cars (ie a £100k car costs nearly a £mil to import) so a conversion could be cost effective, but I'd be pretty surprised if it doesnt look awful Big Cry

I basically took a screen shot of this image on instagram; so I hope the individual who did post this picture will follow up with more. And pretty obvious that the end result won't be that gratifying; but nonetheless a cool project for the bored mind. Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

Thats incredible, I'd heard a rumour that an Indian businessman who owns a mobile phone firm near our office in Mumbai paid £120k for his Rangey and then a further £100k to get into India - but never really understood if it was true ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Yup, ship a new car to Kenya and expect to pay another 150% on top minimum in taxes of what you paid for the car... so a £100k FFRR quickly goes to £250k plus before you start getting requests for "a little something...." MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"
