Heated steering wheel

Brilliant thing to have these cold mornings, except on the coldest days the thing doesn't work (no red light on button). As soon as the car interior warms up it starts working again. Is there some kind of low temperature safety cut-out? QUID FACIUM TIBI

no, but if there isn't enough juice in the battery then the systems will not operate until it registers that the battery has recharged enough from the alternator Regards

That explains it - start up on a very cold morning then have the blower and heated everything else on it wouldn't be surprising. QUID FACIUM TIBI
