You need the interface lead and the software, do a search for Navcoder, there should be plenty of info about it. 2006 Mercedes CLS

i suppose you could always use the cornering lights below the indicator,it has the side light in it as well [if not used like mine] and fit a super bright 9 led bulb there as a daytime running light

Personally, I find some LED DRL's a bit tacky when they're not supposed to be there, even some OEM ones look a bit odd to me. I much prefer the likes of Mk6 Golf's where they use the main beam dimmed. Incidentally, I went onto Navcoder yesterday and enabled the DRL function on my car, got the main beam on 25% brightness dring the day, then they go off when the headlights come on.

Looked a bit odd at first but I quite like them, might set the brightness to 35% though as they look a little yellow.

Did you try the brighter setting?

Also - as I want to enable DRL what do I need to set a 2003 at for the E module settings or do I just "read" first and it sorts its self in Navcoder? Don't want to enable them and find I've activated the ejector seat by mistake Wink

Haven't tried a brighter setting yet, It's been raining every time I've had a spare 10 mins, sod's law!

If I can dodge the rain later, I'll have a go. As far as Navcoder is concerned, I always click 'read' first, then select the option then 'code' It's simple enough to do though. 2006 Mercedes CLS

2011 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey

Hi, new to forum and new to using forums too!

On the subject of LED's. Does anyone know if the 2012 black surround headlight LED's can be activated to be used as DRL's?
Or am I correct in assuming that the main beam will be activated and not the LEDs when the DRL function is activate

Cheers
