United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black
Neat features

Hi All

Newbie here!

Apologies if this has been asked a hundred times already, however....... I know from my wife’s D3 that there are a number of neat features (programmable 3rd button on the key etc), so without having to resort to the reading the manual Smile what in others experience are the top 3 neat features of their FFRR?

Not sure if it’s different for models but I have a TDV8 Vogue 08.

Thanks in advance - Mark

Might actually just be easier for you to read the manual?

No, manuals are OK. You're thinking maps!

Hi Mark, one novelty item that you don't do anything with is the built in 'black box' which records information that could be of use for (or against) you in a car accident. It records things like - wipers on, lights on, position of accelerator , position of brake pedal . So, if you had a major accident where you weren'r at fault, you could possibly use data from this in your defence.
My favourite novelty item is my venture-cam eventhough I don't really use it much.
Cheers Steve

the extended voice control can be useful. You can set the radio and tell the sat nav to go home (amongst a million other things!)

MarkT, Welcome to the fold. Pictures of your car please!

Neat Features on a TDV8...

Hmm, let me think:

Its a Range Rover
It looks amazing
Its SO nice to be in
Everyone else hates you cos they would LOVE one
The TDV8 is just one of the BEST engines ever built
The interior is gorgeous
It can drive you 500 miles on a motorway then up a grouse moor and back again
You can pack it to the gunnels with 'stuff'
It has EVERY toy you could need, even more so if have the Vogue SE
Every other 4wd owner wishes they had one
The Queen drives them (Bless you Ma'am)
TV, Satnav, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, air suspension...the list is endless

When people are passengers in my car I get NO complaints, even on long journeys, everyone is relaxed, everyone enjoys the trip and it FEELS SPECIAL.

Now, tell me I'm wrong about ONE THING!

I dare you...... Cool Discovery 4 HSE
