United States 2011 Range Rover Supercharged 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black
2014 Range Rover

I'm about to get a new range rover upgrading from my 2011 Range Rover Supercharged. I debating getting either a Range Rover Autobiography, Supercharged, or the sport autobiography. Which one would you guys recommend or buy if it was your own money? I can spend up to $145,000 but would like to stay around $115,000. Is it worth it to go up to the autobiography?

I prefer the FF because:

I prefer how it looks (less like a scaled up Evoque)
It rides higher
It has more boot space
I don't want a ride any firmer than the FF
I am not sure I like the image I perceive the Sport to give

I wouldn't mind a little more of the Sport's exhaust note though Cool

Don't like them either. Keep the L322.

Don't know what the current exchange rate is...

But considering an autobiography is over £100k - we are STILL living in 'rip off Britain' Big Cry 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I'd go for the FullFat every time. Still I prefer the L322 over the L405 so I wouldn't trade up from the 2011 unless you want to go for a 2012 5.0 SC of course Smile

Also the L405 seems to have some issues as well if you can judge by this forum and the L322 in the latest MYs seem to be a lot more reliable.

Main reason to stay with L322, the design is just that much nicer and classis IMHO.

If you do like the L405 design, then Full Fat and not Sport would be my suggestion. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

probably the sport because it's the newer car and i guess will have stronger residuals - having said that personally i went for the FF as i prefer a softer ride.

2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Nara Bronze

After running round in a sport autobiography for a month whilst mine was in being "rectified", I dont know why anyone would prefer it over the FF if they could afford the 405.

I must say the gap between the 405 and the new sport is much greater than the old models of each car in my opinion. The sport feels cramped and cheap in comparison even though its marginally keener around the bends. '14.5 SDV8 Nara Bronze for sale

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Cairns Blue

My wife had a new Sport last weekend on a trip down to devon. She picked me up from the station and I thought it was an Ewok (she rents them from Thrifty). We have an L322 and I much prefer the L322 to the new Sport. I cracked my head on the door frame getting in and the design of the dashboard, well its just, whats the word, bland compared to the L322.

They have gone too much for the footballers mode of transport with the L405, much too 'blingy'

Vogue every time. I like the Sport in some ways but everything (and I mean everything) is so much more civilised on the vogue.
Ride = Vogue
Internal space = Vogue
Comfort = Vogue
Road presence = Vogue
Parking in a tight spot = Sport.

That extra money is definitely worth spending IMHO. Assuming of course I had that kind of cash. Laughing

L405's parked next to my LOWERED L322 are still lower .... so I'm not so sure about the 'rides higher' .....

New RRS looks much nicer tbh - more of an evolution than the L405. Just my $0.2c Land Rover Addict
