Problem with stereo/nav/intravee

Bit of a weird one the head unit just switched off in my 2002 4.4. The screen is not black it does have power to it and the splash screen keeps flashing up on it but the unit will not switch on so no computer nav or stereo. It was playing the ipod when it swapped songs in the middle of the song and a message came up saying please wait a moment then it all went off. All the intravee functions have stopped ie reverse sensor distance, mirror fold, auto lock on moving and blink count, also the indicator tell tales no longer work on the cluster!!! Any ideas guys?? Ive disconnected the intravee and still the same One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Thanks Cliffy, funny thing is the car stood for like 10 months in the yard after I bought my 911 turbo and when I went to use it again it had killed a brand new S5 Bosch battery, so i got another under warranty, when we jumped the car with the old battery it did exactly this and as soon as the new S5 went in it started and all was as it should be. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

OK no sign of water ingress in the back but disconnected the DVD and all the intravee functions have returned all be it with a skanky blue screen. does this mean the DVD is toast? if so can it be repaired or is it a replacement? One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
