If I was swapping mine and couldn't have a FFRR, I'd go for either a RRS or a D3 if pushed.

I drove an X5 and thought it was boring. I wouldn't take a Censored on a Volve Xtra Crap 90/60

I rode in a friends D3 HSE over the weekend, it'd been chipped, it still surprises me how smooth the TDV6 engine is compared to my TD6. If I wanted to economise and get a very nearly new 4 wheel drive for little money, the Disco 3 is hard to beat for kit at the HSE spec. It's practical and utilitarian but at least its not an X5 et al.

The TDV8 is still the BEST though. Discovery 4 HSE
