Cost of an LPG conversion on a V8 range rover

Hi, can someone please advise which system is best to go for, which companies are recommended in Essex/suffolk or surrounding areas, and also the rough cost to convert either a 4.4 v8 or a 4.2 supercharged range rover vogue please.

Hi,

My previous S/C was converted (BRC system) prior to me purchasing it by this Company in Luton :-

http://www.micromise.com/

I can recommend AtoZ LPG in New Malden, Surrey :-

http://www.atoz-lpg.co.uk/

It may be worth you PM'ing Gary (Username 'Swithins') for a price as he recently had his S/C converted using the BRC system by AtoZ.

Cheers,

My 07 ajv8 non sc came with a BRC selflubing system and the bill for the system is in file, for 2900 £
The system is really good, no complaints. My previous one had a Prince or Prins system, also good but needed much more looking after as once a year.

I use BRC on my sc and on a 99 sl500. Never any problems and the BRC can handle the power. Just had A-Z put the BRC on my 4.2sc for £2,100, 95 litre tank. Can't see the filler which is beside the row hook at the back. Very near job and excellent service from Warren. Top bloke. No difference either in power with either car. Current:
1999 SL500
2006 Mini One Chrome wrapped
2008 FFRR 4.2sc

Autoprofessgas nr Cardiff did my 2004 4.4 for just over £1,000 I think. It is a STAG system which come from Poland and has performed faultlessly to date. Service each year or 200 hrs of driving is c. £40

I had an Emer system fitted by Dualtech near Bedford a couple of months ago. Cost me about £1500 and is running great.

At least two people I spoke to recommended Emer over Prins for the L322 - I wouldn't get too caught up in the whole "Prins is the best" thing.

Echo that .... Toby from Independent Autogas said that Prins don't spend much on R&D and their systems are pretty much static since they were conceived.

I was worried when I heard I had EMER but turns out it was just a bad config done by the installer Smile

have been running my V8's on LPG for 20 years now

so had a Prins VSI fitted about 5 years ago (by Mpower in brum ) cant fault it
£1500 excluding tank (i fitted tank myself so i could relocate the compressor on a custom made bracket and do some preventive maintenance as there is a bit of cutting involved as the tank was fitted )

best system i have had so far, runs like a dream would not know its fitted.
