2004 ffrr mp3 cd changer upgrade advice needed

Hi guys I'm thinking about upgrading the standard cd changer in my car to the one that can play mp3 CDs, does anyone know the model number for the mp3 cd changer as there seem to be various different ones on sale on eBay and I want to make sure I get the correct one?

Also my current cd changer is showing as no discs even though the cartridge is full - I cannot eject the cartridge as when I press the green eject button absolutely nothing happens - the motor doesn't try to eject the cartridge. Has anyone come across this problem before and know how to fix it?[/url] 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast

Tap it with the handle of a screwdriver whilst pressing the eject button..........should come out. Sticks sometimes.

I understand there are 2 types of connectors on the BMW cd changers, and obviously it will be far easier to get one with the same connectors.

Not took mine out so don't know what the early cars have in. Others have done it so there may be info if you do a quick search.

The later cd changers from the bmw's are the ones you need, but I don't know part numbers I'm afraid. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

MP3 Changer looks exactly the same as the normal cd changer. Only difference, is in the back of the unit, where the normal changer has a fuse, the mp3 one does not. barisahan@gmail.com

Hi thanks for the input, the screwdriver hit technique worked a few times when the cartridge first jammed but now it
Doesn't work because the motor doesn't even try to eject the cartridge.

I've seen a few cd changers on eBay but without a part number it's a bit hit and hope, any ideas where I can find out the part number from? 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 v8 LPG, Java Black, 22' Hawke Alloys, Black Beast
