which is the better part

I am after the track rod ends, I have had 2 good prices, one from Dan, the main man Thumbs Up and one from where the Mrs works cost price I would guess, but don't know which is the better part for durability. The makes are Lemforder and Delphi and only 4 quid in it.

Anyone have experience on both these parts? If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I'm sure both would be fine, but for a £4 difference on a part that controls the steering wouldn't you just go with known quality?

I've never heard of lemforder. If they're known quality then go for it!

My experience of Lemforder and Delphi was all positive.

In fact I don't believe for a second that Land Rover build their own suspension arms. I would hazard a guess that the makes mentioned above make them and then good old LR put them in a green and white box and hike the price. if someone has been to the LR factory and seen their freshly forged arms coming off the line, then I stand corrected. Thumbs Up

Just my £0.02

Steve.

Lemforder is a brand name of ZF.

ZF, of course, supply the transmission and power steering systems on the Range Rover.

Both of them have made these parts for JLR at different times so, both are OEM quality if that helps Thumbs Up

Delphi are the current manufacturer (I would happily fit either of them too)
