Canada 2008 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Java Black

It's not the "pollution and safety", it's the protection of the Censored the domestic manufacturers make.
What is safer and less polluting, an illegal 2014 Defender TDCI (with pollution controls! ABS, etc) or a legal 1955 Series 1 with drum brakes, no seat belts and no roof?

It's hard to get info about this story, but I thought there was a possibility of Land Rovers or parts from stolen vehicles fitted before export. THATS a different story.

With most vehicles, 25 years makes a difference. A legal 1989 Discovery and a new 2014 Discovery are rather different. Those changes are much less clear on a Defender ( or Land Rover 110 as the legal ones would be called in the States as they would be pre 89s).

I hope the innocent buyers are able to get their cars back soon. Canada's limit is 15 years and that's bad enough. Big Cry I saw someone showing off his BRAND NEW Defender with the NEW TD5 engine a few months ago. Mr. Green
