England 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Hi, Mine is the one in 'rural' setting above Wink
The bottom line on ride quality is that it is not quite as good as the stock 255/50/20.
That said, you would really have to drive over a well known stretch of bumpy road back to back to spot the difference.
Really it is only the 'bump thump' which is about 5% worse. The actual rim to road distance is only about 3mm different.
Then there are the advantages:
The latest generation of Pirelli tyre for the L405 is a step up in most criteria and sits on a 1"wider rim which helps prevent the feeling of skippering an ocean yacht on the road. The overall grip is higher, the roll is less and the noise is unchanged despite an increase in width.(Sad, but I did actually measure this on a know bit of road... Embarassed)
None of the control systems seem put out by the slight increase in overall diameter and the result is even lower rpm at motorway speeds for an even more relaxed drive.
If you buy carefully, you'll get a new 'take off' set for the cost of replacing the 20" tyres alone! 2012MY Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Vogue...now gone!

Here's my motor on the 21's with it being driven at the pictured ride height.

The drive and general comfort is so much better on these wheels than the standard 18's it used to be on.

Before and after pictures of my 4.4 TDV8 with L405 AB wheels. I've just had them refurbished after kerbing one last year. I went for a shadow chrome finish as no-one can match the 2 colour finish that Land Rover are using on some wheels.

After....

Certainly looks like it.

A few decent looking set on the bay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-OE-Set-O...Sw4T5XHiiY

even a brand new matching spare -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-RANGE-RO...Sw--1Wthx~

They seem to be the least popular of the L405 22's and therefore usually the cheapest to find - I do think they look quite smart on an L322 though Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig, you're a star. I will at some point be requiring your assistance with a facelift (for the FFRR, not me), will try and tie it in with visiting family

Very nice Mr Tee (I've forgiven you for snapping them wheels up now before me Mr. Green ) They look gorgeous on. Mine were delivered today, so after a good clean this week they'll be fitted straight after my holiday

Cant wait, all I got then to fit are front and rear mudflaps and plan my facelift (of the car I mean)
