Or rather you won't have any issues at all! Take a look at their forum, the only subject is the weather as there is nothing else to talk about. The Amazon really holds it's value too.

I looked at an 06 face lifted model yesterday on the net, 80k miles in mint condition.....£23 k Shocked

Caravelle! Nice and easy to drive, you can see each corner.

And as per the Amazon, it has a good image and will hold it's value like nothing else. Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC

Galaxy's are ace - just don't touch the 1.6!!!!!

Sound real good on paper with close to 160 bhp but....... to cruise at a steady motorway speed you need to stir the 'box something cronic and none of our guys can get anywhere near the published economy in "real-world" conditions. The only time they get close is in long 50mph roadwork sections but then they lose it all during the 2 miles it takes to get the thing back up to speed Big Cry

2.0 diesel is great and trounces the 1.6 in real world economy.
Mind you, jumping in a brand new one after driving my 7 year old FFRR TDV8 it does feel like a go-kart with a spark plug missing! Laughing

Long Live The FFRR!!!!

Silly question, I know, but what's wrong with taking two cars rather than one massive one?

It seems that your good and obedient lady wife isn't terribly good with large cars, as your FF comments appear to testify.

A Landcruiser / Amazon would only exaccerbate this, so I imagine it's a non-starter on exterior size grounds alone.

A much smaller 7-seat car could be an option worth considering, providing it meets the high standards set by your salubrious neighbourhood. Laughing

Of course, the double-buggy may not fit, but then how often will this thing be filled to the brim anyway? A second car would offer more combined space and more flexibility for the little munchkins and adults when needed. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

might sound like common sense but do check the width of the drive,

I didnt and only have about 3 inches either side of the car to fit in off a main road!!!

Well taking two cars anywhere is double the costs as in fuel and such like ... she is alright to a point at driving the FF as long as she parks a foot away from Kerbs ... Laughing

Looked at the Amazon defo too big ...

And every time the wife goes out the 2 daughters along with the sister in law , double buggy and 2 grandkids whom 1 is nearly 2 and as i say in 4 weeks the other will be due plus all the baggage that goes with 2 kids will all be out together .... at least 4 days out of the week

Reason why i am nearly always on here Laughing

@ stcstc31 ... Driveway has plenty of room , so alright on that front Thumbs Up ====================================
