My suggestion for a Sticky topic.

I've been looking for a good independent garage for my Range rover for a while and I think it would be helpful to all if we built up a list for round the country based on recommendations and forum members experience. Here's my first one to get it going.

DAS Land Rover Ltd - Horley Surrey - Just been recommended to a new local Independent Land rover specialist in Horley Surrey - DAS Landrover Ltd. Very knowledgable and good honest service. Prices are very good and with the range of different Land Rovers and exotics (6X6 truck) they seem to know their stuff. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Local to me and have used them twice since buying the FFRR, once for an oil service and a second time to fix the TPMS system (broken wire on a sensor). I like them, they're friendly and I'm happy with the value - £303 inc VAT for an oil service (including pollen filter, oil flush, fuel conditioner and TPMS fault finding) and £62 to fix the TPMS wiring fault.

They're quite a large, busy Indy with lots of service bays and mechanics. I think they carry a pretty big parts store too.

They're an independent Land Rover specialist and they're awesome. Ewen & Colin the owners are top blokes. They never answer the phone as they're always so busy, but leave a message or nip in past.
