To be fair, a lot of helicopter pilots are complete tits as well. I fly small aeroplanes as a hobby and the ones we've seen at the club are mostly knobs. Several had to have fuel ferried out to them a few miles away due to running out Shocked The worst part is they think it's funny. Mostly ignorant ejits who care nothing about the consequences of their actions.

No excuses for the behaviour of the RR owner though. A damn stupid thing to do although hardly worthy of a year in clink. But I can see why he might have been more than a little miffed. Helicopters do blow massive amounts of debris over quite a large distance and it would make a car look like it's been peppered with gravel.

A far better course of action would have been a report to the CAA swiftly followed by a claim against the heli's insurance. That would have been one less knob in the skies and a nice respray instead of a year of porridge.

goto admit theres was a lot of grass further down away from the car/building so the pilot could have landed away from the problem.
