was bluetooth an option on 2005 ffrr

did every ffrr come with bluetooth. mine has a nokia kit in the centre console and a nokia device in the boot

but has a parrot kit installed, that doesnt work very well, doesnt even mute the audio system

so over bluetooth i can see the parrot. but cant see anything else

its a 2005 touchscreen, witht eh square grill

The nokia unit in the boot is bluetooth but is probably running old software that can't cope with newer phones hence the rubbish Parrot kit , get in touch with Wiggs on this site and he does an exchange service for the units provided yours is new enough ( you give him your serial number).
Years ago I loved using the cradle in the armrest , better signal full address book and text all available but just not supported now we all use smart phones Sad

If you have a iid tool you can upgrade the software yourself, as long as the unit is new enough. Have a look at the thread
