@ nicedayforit

Yes, that's what I was expecting, but old one clean as a whistle on the thread. Must on the mating face at the end of the thread? No leak or hissing here Wink .

I think when my pressure switch requires replacing, as I'm sure it will, Whistle I'll use a bit of ptfe just to be sure.

Nicedayforit, my pressure switch was clean on the thread as well, as the switch has a rubber O ring and the switch fits in the tank recess, when tighten up is wont leak air. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Sadly, not fixed for me. Made it @ 6 miles from home this morning before faulting. Same fault, so haven't moved the problem Sad

Think it will have to be a new compressor next! Big Cry .

Censored , that's a pita.

How long does it take from access height to off road height, to re cap mine on my thread it was between 1min 20 sec to 1 min 26 sec, reservoir full to start with.

If yours is the same ish or under sure it couldn't be the compressor as mine still takes this long to raise. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Not wanting to count chickens but have now been 2 + 1/2 days fault free (6 journeys @ 100 miles in total) since I reset (all ecus) Monday morning. Pretty certain I did the same after fitting the new sensor but at my age.....

Will report back again Friday pm unless this hopeful post generates a fault in the morning Evil or Very Mad .

B Censored ks Evil or Very Mad

5 miles into journey into work and up it popped.

Cleared fault once I got to work, then did the access to off road test. Gave up after 3 minutes of waiting for it to get there. So off to find a new compressor, methinks Embarassed .

Compressor coming out on the bench tomorrow, see if I can find the reed valve Haylands mentioned. Will also pull it apart a bit to see what else I can find. Having done bagpipe andy's repair only recently am guessing my piston broke (gag) Laughing .

Hopefully be the read valve Joe, can't see it would be much else, unless the piston ring has broken....

Could try cleaning out or drilling the brass air filter inlet, and checking the other filters.... also have a look at the dryer, comes apart easy, stuck my granules in the oven at 120deg for 30 mins to dry them after my swimming lesson!!!

Good luck.. Pete
