United States 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver
2008 L322 SC 4.2 Engine Oil Cooler vs Trans Oil Cooler

Going through and replacing most of the coolant system on a 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 with 158,000 miles.

The transmission oil cooler is Land Rover part (LR013046) and the Engine Oil cooler is part (LR015152)

I've ordered a genuine transmission cooler and have likely decided to replace the engine oil cooler and two coolant lines while in there.

Does anyone know if these are the same part? Looking at the Mahle/Clevite CLC228000P cooler on Rockauto.com looks like it is for both applications. Considering aftermarket for the engine oil cooler.

Any help clarifying would be much appreciated. Also, any thoughts on the prudence of replacing the engine oil cooler and two lines preventatively when not leaking?

Thanks!

It looks like I have answered my own question and that they are separate units.

LR013046 Transmission Cooler is Mahle CLC228000P

LR015152 Engine Oil Cooler is Mahle CLC65000P. This part does not have much availability in the US. Is there a recommended quality oem option or is genuine the only real choice for a reliable replacement?
