Might sound stupid, knowing how important battery usage on an FFRR is, but I'd like it to put the lights on for a short time.

sounds like a good idea but i'm pretty sure it cant be done.....you could press the lock button [when the FF is locked] and you'll find that the interior and wing mirror puddle lights come on for a few seconds ,this might deter peeps but it wont illuminate a lane for instance...

It is a very unfortunate fact in this land of ours that even if some scum is trying to take your things the use of a shotgun is frowned upon Along time ago I remember a police SGT telling me that if you're gonna shoot a low life make one shot counts - make it in the front and up high!!!! A dead'n can't say he wasn't threatening you or that you weren't acting in "heat of the moment" self defense!!!!!
