New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Wauw, that is a stunning car. Awesome mate but sorry to see you have to sell. Hope that you sail through the op without issues and make a full recovery. I can imagine the FFRR being easier to use after the op.

On the other hand i just took my 2006 Kawasaki ZX14 out of mothballs and am re-assembling it after 5 Years of storage. It looks brilliant and I am going to not use it for at least one but maybe more years due to local import duties. In NZ I should not have to pay any import duties (same as for the 5.0SC). So maybe mothballing is not such a bad idea. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

If you can store the car, cheaply or for free, why would you sell it! SORN'ed and uninsured, its safe if safely stored, or on drive etc.- in two years its not going to lose a lot of its currrent value, as its not run of the mill typical condition. and even so, its small compared to buying another and fettling that one.
Keep it mate, and give yourself some recovery inspration. we have a CLK, and getting into that is funny as its -'on the floor' so i know how you feel. Our CLK was not used for two years nearly, and only needed a battery and the old brake discs changing as they went a bit rusty. (but were ripe for changing anyway)
always liked this model. -remembering seeing these in v12 form at £96k on dealer forcourts, now a true pistonheads budget car. Clarkson would agree! here,

and previously here.

and remember, the money in the bank isn't earning you anything either. unlike the house in the earlier clip!

Every gentleman has his Folley. -if you don't, ...............then it's a Mistress! (potentail for HUGE waste of money!!)

I know what you mean but..... I've got a two car garage with a workshop on the back about the same size, it is set up to work on one car with the doors wide open and still get round it... pottering around in the garage is about all I can do at the moment and if I keep the Merc I won't have room to do any work on the Rangie, I do have plans that I can hopefully do whilst waiting to get sorted so I think it's time for it to go to a new owner.... Pete

Sell it, Stick the £4500 in the bank and when the new joints are up to it find yourself a nice biturbo CL 600 to play with Wink at least you know what needs done now, and you know half the fun is getting it to look so good in the first place... It's like Xmas every time it comes back from the workshop....

Just make sure you find someone to take as much care of it as you have, she's a beauty! '08 Audi S6 Avant 5.2 V10 with Milltek non-resonated. Vrrrrrrmmmmmph

you can't put one of those in a workshop!
-unless you want a heart attack to go with your new ball joint op's

stick the old one in storage, on a farm, you can find good secure covered storage for £10 a week. £520 a year.
less than the price of a cl600 dealer stamp.

on that Clarkson cl500 clip, on my previous reply, he got a fault on the engine, (next episode) one cylinder misfiring, took it to dealers, £1000 for a coilpack!

ebay....£20

I've seen the car a couple of times whilst at Petes for something else, and can say it's definately a minter.

Very good value for money in my mind.

Good luck with the sale.
