Still capable of work

Just had to use ffrr to tow a trailer loaded with rubble from off road site to home, the trailer must have been grossing off at near to the maximum of 3000kgs and for good measure we have some good hills round here, i was really supriseed how easily the ffrr managed. I have had a few RR and Discoverys in the past but this one is just as capable of working as any other LR product and in my opinion the best at it, so it may look like a sunday car but when needed it does the jobs too.

It has the 4.4 BMW and I cannot praise the engine/gearbox too highly for the towing performance, I do not know what it did to the fuel consumption but it would not have improved Laughing

No staggering at all, We have a twin axle caravan (gross weight 2000kg ) which I was unsure of the suitability of the ffrr as a towcar, with it being auto and its "reputation" for being fragile, even to the point of thinking about getting a camper/.motorhome but if you had seen the position of the trailer where it was loaded and how it effortlessly clambered out !!!!!!!!!! I thought it did brilliantly,

No need to buy camper now so camper funds will cover the autobox that will now pack up as I will no doubt have put the evil spell on by singing its praises.
