Additional Lights

Question Question Question

Has anyone fitted these as i'm thinking about a set, think they might look good, be useful, and not over the top

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...K:MEWAX:IT

If so, what are they like, what other bits are needed as i don't have an A bar, can they easily but put on with main beam etc or do they have to be switched on dash.

Anyone got a set of fitting instruction they could email me so i can see if i could fit them.

Thanks all. If its not broke now it soon will !!!

Agreed. A worthy addition if your off roading in the dark but not my cup of tea for aesthetics.

They probably just feed directly from the main beam if you want them to. Otherwise its chop chop in the dash for a new switch!

You should probably check that they have a hidden bracket (ie, behind the grill). I'm sure you wouldnt want to be drilling the front bumper! My Previous RR's!

If you go to the Land Rover Website there is a link through to all the accessories and their fitting instructions, owners manuals and a host of other useful stuff or you could just follow this link!
http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp

On that webpage there is also a link to the Land Rover GTR website - this is an excellent source of info and includes all the TSB and recall data including the VIN's that they apply to.............................. you have to pay for 24 hours access and there is no limit to how much info you can download in that time. Dealers get in for free Big Cry but it appears very few service departments ever use it 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Thumbs Up

Thanks Tim, FFRR, useful link.

Think i've gone off the idea, too much taking off and drilling of holes. When i start taking things off things have a tendancy to not go back right, get damaged, go wrong or break!!!!

Cheers If its not broke now it soon will !!!

IMHO they look awful on a RR - almost 1970's.

For road use, the RR has good enough lights already, the only time you may need them is off road - but you are better then having a light bar mounted as low as possible above the windscreen to flood light down and around the front of the vehicle.
