2006 FFRR 4.2SC. Tyre Size.

Got my first FFRR earlier this week.

It needs 2/3 new tyres, so I may as well buy 4 of them.

9-spoke alloy wheels and the current size (and that recommended on all the tyre sites) is 255/50/20 Y109.

Can I SAFELY increase the tyre width, sat, 265 or 275?

TIA.

Paul.

You can safely go up to 275/45/20 without any lock or rubbing issue on std wheels- the diameter is almost exactly the same depending on tyre manufacturer 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
