Sore knee from driving

Well having just completed an afternoons driving in the new car with SWMBO I have a sore right knee due to only applying the lightest of touches to the throttle pedal. Every time I forgot they both growled, not my knee, the car and SWMBO still she doesn't come out with me every day and driving gently I did manage 17mpg - happy days😄 Geoff

Tell SWMBO that the car is very deceptive and that you are actually not driving fast at all Smile You're in a 500 bhp monster and that should be driven with a bit of "verve" IMHO Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Actually, to be terribly boring and constructive I used to get this.

Try adjusting the seat so it's slightly higher at the back than the front, move it back slightly from your normal position, i.e. straighten the leg a bit. It worked for me. Thumbs Up

i have a sore right knee, as my seating position, means that on my 2002, the knee rests against the door catch. I have tried different positions, but don't feel comfortable. I keep meaning to make a small hard foam pad and having it fixed on a piece of elastic to the door catch trim securing screw. one day I will sort this out. but unless I'm booting it, it really annoys me as every little rut in the road jiggles it a bit more! on a long journey it plays havoc! the left shin rests against the console verticle trim, -that's fine.

over the weekend we drove to bristol and on the way there it was a sublime 75'ish but on the way back it was 85/90 and the wife didnt say anything until a mini which had previously overtook, slowed down in front of us on the hill coming up to the Bath junction and i overtook still doing the same speed but without showing any effort going up this hill.. ... - .- -.

his knee was aching because he could not drive his FF as he wanted,which was with his foot down.... ... - .- -.
