i respect the views of qualified members on this forum that say that 19'' wheels give the best ride and comfort but why is land rover fitting 20'' wheels as an option, surely FFRR customers will experience a 'not so good' ride and be disappointed with it , or is the ride quality between the two not that different .. .

I've recently swapped from 20 to 19 (based on being able to get a set of wheels and tyres relatively cheaply, not preference over comfort)

I ran my RRS in the Winter on 19" Snow and Ice tyres and 20" in the summer - the only difference I could detect was how much less scuffing of the alloys I suffered when using the 19" wheels............... I think LR is putting 20's on because if they didn't offer them then folks would still put them on, but use after-market wheels. I'm happy with the 19's on my car although somebody here did suggest I should swap them for a set of 20" S/C wheels |

My local road had 34 potholes in a 100m stretch... until they just resurfaced it before the election. Conservative local council. |

The 20 S/C Wheels would be my favourite. Best price is what I found with tyre 1600£ |

Yes, seems a lot for 20s when you can get new 2010 19 inch rims and tyres for £500-odd. |

£500 price is not their cost or value but as most buyers want 20s that is why the seller is able to do them at the price - all about suplly and demand. In real terms the £1600 for 20s is still discounted compared to LR retail but granted feels alot more if you see 19s at £500. I do think that price for 19s is artificial though and will not be maintained so get em while you can. |
