After looking at buying a supercharged 4.2 with LPG what are people's thoughts on the 4.2 having LPG ? Anything to look out for and will the insurance require a certificate to prove its ok Thumbs Up

2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver

Be careful what you buy - I have a fair bit of experience of LPG with an SC and got mine well sorted but I had the software and spent a lot of time fine tuning it.

Have you actually seen car that you are thinking about ?

Mine was Cat D after it was stolen / recovered and just wondering when it will pop up somewhere for sale again. I know the extent of the damage but it would have been easy to get it back on the road without fixing everything that I know was damaged..... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

hi I have a 2006 RR SC runs on LPG, and runs great, i do have the engine light on but had mixed reaction with most people saying it can be set up better to stop it coming on, and others included LPG specialist who says that its a common thing.

the kit have been on for around 5 years, runs great top end and no over heating. its a BRC kit on mine. an make sure you have a valve saver electronic one that pumps it in and the vacuum one only works at low revs then the engine goes positive pressure when charger kicks in.
