L322 Heated windscreen - diagnosing fault

Hi.

the driver's side my heated screen doesn't work whilst passenger side does. Can anyone advise on what the fault might be please?

Thanks

They do tend to die after a while, as the windscreens get older, they start to delaminate around the edges, this breaks the small wires running through the screen and stops it working... fix is a new screen...

My 2002 only has one solitary wire left that works!!!!! Pete

Think the circuit may be split into two with a relay for each half so could be the relay, before I got a new screen mine used to be stripey when defrosting which was related to the elements breaking down

Okay, thanks both - I'll have a hunt for the relays first off - any clues as to where they are?

Mine was stripey, I just happened to get a crack up the screen and get it swapped by autoglass, now works fine.......

My advice...... Drive behind a gritter (obviously bad for the paintwork) There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
