RSE Headphones and cupholders

Hi, I've just picked up a 2007 S/C which has RSE fitted. The car possibly as standard only comes with two headphones and I wish to get a third set as I have three kids sitting across the back. Do I just buy a thrid set and pair it up as though I was replacing one and will the head unit cope with feeding three sets?

Also, does the third set need to be the same as the two currently or will any infrared headset do, assuming a third set can be accomodated by the head unit?

A further question, is there a compact IR headset available that can be conveniently stored in the pocket on rear of front seats?

One last one, the departing Discovery 3 had rear cup holders but SWMBO pointed out that the Fatty does not. Have any of you guys found a solution for water bottle holders for the rear seat occupants?

Thanks in advance

Pete.

No idea about the extra headphones, but there are cup holders in the flap on top of the centre arm rest when you fold it down. Might be a bit tricky with a wee one sitting where it folds down mind you! Rolling Eyes

The headphones usually come in a black case(s), which fits neatly into the rear door cubby. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Buy a second hand iPad and load it with content. Third screen and the headphones are smaller.

Mine all used to fight over what they were going to watch. It is easier now they have their own devices (and that they are grown up).

Ok, thanks all of you for feedback there. I understand what you;re saying. Will look on eBay for the bottle holders.

Each of the kids has their own iPads so we're set for alternatives and overload of options for entertainment, but still not enough apparently.

In case we have a scenario where they all want to watch the same DVD, then a 3rd headset would appease all and lead to silence. So if I bought a 3rd set of IR headphones, is there a pairing process or will it just hook up and play the audio frmo the IR sender?

Will do some more research on this myself but thanks for input guys.

Providing the headphones work on the same frequency as the transmitter, you'll be fine Thumbs Up Ian
