SHMBO is moaning her feet are cold in the back HELP !!

Picked my mum up and took her home over xmas so shmbo was in the back and yes we even got the book out but no hot air could be produced in the rear of the car. mum had her dial at 18 20 and mine was 20 22 but no warm air in the back, so come on guys how does it work ?? is it just an air duck from the front with more fans operated via the front switch or is there another heater matrix back there with a stuck valve or something ??? If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

there's a switch on the dash console which lets air go to the back or not, is it on? ... - .- -.

Yes that makes the fans in the back work on the right control knob ok, heated seats work ok on both switches but the air is cold from the mid level vents and nothing from the foot vents, you should have heard the moaning not good " how much was this bloody car ?? my feet are freezing !!! " If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Stan you're a miracle. Never noticed that button, just had a look and it is there....and it was on. So nobody ever complained. There are to many options on these cars. Embarassed

All joking you are a star Stan, my next stop was going to be the workshop manual I downloaded it the other week. So sat behind mum no matter whether the rear blower is on or not there should be heat from under the seat via the duct, hand will be going under there tomorrow, the central buttons are usually on feet and screen and fan on auto so ranging between 1 2 or 3 good in the front obviously not-so in the back. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

@robert, you're welcome

@noworries, i think there's a blend flap behind the front centre vents that lets the hot/cold air to the rear so it might be that that's faulty/stuck.. ... - .- -.
