08 TDV 8, does this have a crankcase breather fillter like the TD6

I have looked and looked but find it not, and seeing as I'm going to to the first service on it this week (that I'v done on a TDV8) I thought I'd better ask

I Don't believe no body knows if the TDV8 has a crank case breather or not.............

somebody has got to know or was it too silly a question?

Not sure, but you could do with editing the thread title to say something other than "Question".

Hi Stan I have only got the manual for the TD6 I have downloaded a few but they all seem to have the TD6 or petrol V8's not the diesel V8

I'm sure there is some form of breather on the engine that recycles the crank case fumes into the inlet tract. Where it is and in what form, no clue, sorry mate. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The TDV8 does not have a filter like the TD6 it has an oil separator, so that's one less thing to change
