4.2 SC Prices Holding?

A quick scan of Autotrader shows a number of varying mileage pre <07 MY prices hovering around the £15K mark.

Prices for the 07 MY> (Terrain Response version) seem higher still.

It was only a glance and advertised prices not necessarily what they go for but prices are higher than I'd imagined.

Seasonal hike, maybe, as one possible explanation?

I looked this week also as the servicing, repair and upgrade cost for my Mustang is getting rather high, so considered a possible sale of my SC and was rather surprised at the values.

Thing is, though, what else can you get for that amount that approaches the levels and capabilities of an FF, 4.2 or otherwise? Si. <This is my name.

I take it you mean pleasantly surprised at the values Si?

I think if people can stand the running, maintenance costs and acceptance that you do really need to keep on top of the L322 or it could bite you badly; and if you are not needy to have 'the latest shape' model of a particular car, then the L322 would be hard to beat for desirability, comfort and capability.

Thumbs Up

it is actually strange - In May this year I could get a 2011 FFRR SC 5.0 for R469k (GBP26k) - now the cheapest 2009 is around R500k (GBP28k).

Even pre-owned L405 now sells for same or higher prices than when it was new Big Cry
